We also do horse training. Kids horses are easy because I'm small enough to put some miles on them and have the experience a child would not have. I also train horses to do tricks, come on command, lie down, and more! We can train your pony to do tricks or for pony rides.

One Skipun Sun
2009 Chestnut Gelding
AQHA #5171766

He's about 15HH & about 1000 lbs. His dam is an OWN daughter of ZANS DIAMOND JOKER (over 532 performance points & 13 Halter!!!) That is right - Zan Parr Bar on the bottom side & his sire is out of a grandson of the great Doc O'Lena! Super quiet spirit & seems like an "old man"! We love ^quot;Big Guy" & he gets along with everyone! Easy to catch with a single treat, leads, loads, saddles & hauls the very best! He even stakes like a goat & will make a great Pack horse! Very gentle - - so, No, he doesn't slide, spin or chase barrels or cows... YET! But - this "baby" is just turning 4 yr old! He is just a gentle laid back ride. He is current on worming & negative Coggins, etc. No, I don't want to trade him for a "good ole" brood mare or buddy bonded, barn-soured pet you love. He is no problem to keep. Not looking to trade him unless you have a well behaved, broke APHA registered, colorful black & white stallion. This gelding is flashy colored - he has wide blaze & 4 white stockings! "The Big Guy" does need to gain a little more weight because he has a big stout frame that can carry a lot! I want him to have a great home. And, no, I don't know if your kids can ride him - heck, I don't even know if they can color, much less ride!! Thanx for looking! $1150.

Lily
APHA Registration Pending 2013 Filly

**Will be offered for sale beginning in May, but won't be weaned that soon! We should also know a color by then!** Such a sweetie - we call her "Lily". Her dam is "DAISY MAK", a big, gorgeous buckskin/tobiano mare that has such defined & stout muscling! "COYS BONANZA" & "WATCH JOE JACK" bloodlines!!! And, baby's sire is "SKIPPER JOES POCO", a handsome AQHA line-back dun stallion we owned last year! "CLABBER BAR" & "DOC'S HOTRODDER" bloodlines! We thought at first we would keep this one, but my daughter that plays with her is getting her first show steer this Summer & that will be a lot of work! This baby filly looks like she will be heavily muscled! Yes, she has been haltered & petted before a month old! We are thinking Lily will mature to about 15.2hh! $1250.

Diablo
8 Year Old Bay Pony
12HH

No papers. Everyone is always asking me about cheap ponies!! Here he is!! Does have recent negative Coggins test & recent worming. He is healthy, handsome & hauls great! Loads like an old cow dog! Stakes like a milk goat! My daughter & I trimmed his hooves. It was about as easy as clipping a tiger ;) We haven't tried to ride him as I am a little big on him & all my kids are bigger than me! We have been using him to teach others to lead & turn back. (Like some people use a donkey to teach a steer to lead...) He has worked with 4 different ones this month & he does great!! He comes up to me when I have a Range Cube or two! The previous owner said the lady who had him before he got him, had led her kids around on him. I am assuming he has been ridden at some point.....since he is 8 years old. *He does seem to have trust issues & is NOT a pony worth a grand. He needs work or I would want a lot more for him! Don't drive over here thinking I'm selling a loving back yard Pet.* Reason I want to sell him - I own others I like better that ARE big enough for me to ride. I would trade him on a calm, pretty stud pony or mare that is a bit taller than him or anything else you have of similar value! He is very stout & wide built! Could use another 50 lbs, ... but he has been working for a living! He could make someone a good companion horse? $275 - no guarantees!

Ellie
Sorrel/tobiano Paint 10 year old mare
About 12.2hh

Ellie Mae is a flashy mare - face looks like Hildago's!! Has long pretty mane & tail. I will get newer better pic soon. Previous owner said she was used for 5 yr for Pony rides before I bought her last Fall. I had to "preach to her" & do some ground work because she was used to kids. Ellie has really started to fit in here! I have ridden her a few times in our round pen & several times on a back road of gravel. I even rode her to our local Convenience store & she did GREAT! Even loped her 3 times!. She just rides like a super gentle pony. Does NOT cut cows, barrel race or spin & slide. Smooth trot. Not spooky. Really sweet. My sister even used her for a couple of months (she has 4 kids). I love this little mare & it is okay with me if she just stays right here! I can sit on behind saddle & slide off behind her. She stands great for baths & hoof trimmings. She is one of those that the more time I spend on her, the more I want to. SOLD! Thanks to Danny G. of La

Bar T Hot Lil Sara
AQHA #4752928
Gray Mare Foaled: 4-8-05

Dam's "mom" is a grand-daughter of THE HOT EXPRESS - earner of over 500 perfomance points & 15.5 Halter points! Sara is an AQHA registered 8 yr old grey mare!!! **Her sire is an own son of the great SMART LITTLE LENA.** Great bloodlines!!!... in addition to Smart Little Lena, Sara has on her papers : The Hot Express, Peppy San Badger, & Doc O Lena! AND*** she IS vet checked in foal to a dun AQHA stallion for a May foal in 2013! Yes, baby will be AQHA registered! Sara is a small Quarter horse mare that is stout built. She is easy to lead, load & handle. Sara does NOT crib, kick, bite, set back on rope, pin ears back, flip back or any of those negative faults. She has NEVER been foundered, collicked, over-worked or burned out. I've owned Sara for 7 years on October 5! This June, she had a 2012 foal out of SD TRU REFLECTION. He was an APHA gray/tobiano. Sara is very gentle & has been ridden about 35 times & did great. I do NOT want to trade for more horses, mules, hens or kids. She is healthy. Current on worming & negative Coggins test . Just $1500 (and her foal this year sold for $1100 and a lady drove 1300 miles round trip to get him)!

JP PEPPYS GAY WILSON
AQHA #4339115
Sorrel Gelding - 4-11-03

'WILLIE' has awesome bloodlines! His sire is LITTLE PEPPY BADGER, an own son of the great PEPPY SAN BADGER. Willie's dam is an own daughter of DOC WILSON!! That means Willie still has MR SAN PEPPY, DRY DOC, DOC BAR & GAY BAR KING ON HIS PAPERS!!! This gelding has not been traded around or messed up & his AQHA papers are in my name. Has NOT cribbed, bit, kicked, pinned ears or any of that other negative stuff! He IS an athletic horse, a pretty mover & learns quickly. Willie gets along with every animal in the pasture, catch him easily with a few Range Cubes, leads & loads the very best! Stands tied great - we can even move the trailer with him tied to it! He is not kid pony, Willie is a performance minded prospect for anything from reining, cutting, to team penning! I have ridden him to the Post Office & down the back roads. He hasn't been spooky or hyper. I have pictures of me this Spring on him in town. Reason I want to sell him - - - I have too many mouths to feed, he is too tall for pony rides & geldings don't support themselves with babies! How long I have had him - 8 yr in May! No - he isn't horse crazy, buddy-bonded or 'alpha-gelding'!! Yes, he wears hobbles & stakes like a goat! No - he hasn't been worked on cows. I do NOT want to trade for more full size horses or kids :) "*****my daughter is now committed to showing Willie the last weekend of January! So, if you want him - you would need to pay half down. Then we would keep & feed him at our expense until after his show! Then you could pay him off in cash & pick him up! He is in great shape! SOLD! Thanks to Terry S. of Pilot Point
